Hii :3 Its Angela and im really bored. if you have unlimited text meseging on your phone, you should text 1 to 22444. it could save a life. lol jk. but if you send it it will vote for the ICONic Boyz to be Americas Best Dance Crew. ahaha. it doesnt cost anything if you have unlimited text messeging. i've probably voted over 200 times. thats how much i want them to win. :) I'll be reaaaaalllllllyyyy sad if they dont win. the other crew who is competing against them is IaMmE. they are good too but the ICONic Boyz are better. lol. justsaying. and the ICONic Boyz are the youngest crew ever to be on ABDC. they are ages 10, 11, 12, 13, & 14. so they are like our age! one of them even got bullied when he was in the 5th grade because he put down as his goal to be a hip hop dancer. thats how mean people were at his school. >.< i dont even see why they would bully him for wanting to be a hip hop dancer. theres nothing wrong about wanting to be one.
there are 7 of them on the show but there are alot more who didnt get to be one the show. they are from Englishtown, New Jersey. ahaha. TEXT 1 TO 22444! VOTING ENDS ON THURSDAY JUNE 2, 2011 ON 6AM EST! thank youu. vote as many times you can!!!! (:

Beginning of Week 5
Hi Team Chavez/Vera Cruz members,
I know that the extra miles worksheets are the same ones that have been in that binder since last semester; so, I created this blog for you all to have a space to share your thoughts.
For your first post:
* Write about a civil rights leader or civil rights activist. We are Team Chavez/Vera Cruz and we need to learn about the many important people in history who have done a lot of great things to help us have the rights we have today. At the end of the year, I would hope that you all would have learned about some amazing leaders who you may not get the chance to learn about in your regular school day.
Here are some examples of people to look up: Malcolm X, Yuri Kochiyama, Angela Davis, Dolores Huerta, Jose Rizal, but do not be limited to this list!!! Feel free to look up other civil rights activists and leaders!
Here are some that we have learned a little about in our AIM team, but we could always learn more about them: Cesar Chavez, Philip Vera Cruz, Rosa Parks, Fred Korematsu.
Happy blogging!
